This original 50s television was made by Ferguson and was common place in homes across the country.

The original unreliable electronics have been removed and replaced with a modern LCD screen and media player making it ideal to show footage in a shop window display and is now suitable for being left on 24/7.

We advise you make your video footage black and white and apply retro effects to it to keep the 50s feel.

Media can be played simply inserting a USB stick in the back of the unit with an MP4 file on it.

Uses only one mains socket.

Easy to Film!
This item uses an LCD in place of the original CRT and as such makes it much easier to film. You will have no issues with frame rates or roll bars. However, you will need to add digital effects to the footage to be played on the screen to make it look more authentic. Scan lines and a slight gradient to the edges usually does the trick!

This is not as authentic as the original screen, but easier to work with and ideal for projects with limited budgets.
