This original Ferguson television has been modified to use an LCD screen internally. The wood finish has some damage.
The original unreliable electronics have been removed and replaced with a modern LCD screen making it ideal for filming (avoiding frame rate issues and roll bars).
It takes a standard VGA signal from older laptops (can be supplied) or can be used with an HDMI to VGA adaptor.
Since some of the LCD screen is hidden by the bezel, you may need to resize your images to compensate.
Easy to Film!
This item uses an LCD in place of the original CRT and as such makes it much easier to film. You will have no issues with frame rates or roll bars. However, you will need to add digital effects to the footage to be played on the screen to make it look more authentic. Scan lines and a slight gradient to the edges usually does the trick!
This is not as authentic as the original screen, but easier to work with and ideal for projects with limited budgets.
